PROJECTS FOR ANNEXES AND SMALL HOMES
S10A are specialist in small residential developments within gardens of properties or sites known as ‘Backlands’, typically at the rear of other properties. Our Davyhulme project site allows for a new house within a large garden with separate access. Other projects sites have allowed by a self-contained annex or ‘granny flat’ in a separate building but where some amenity is shared with the host dwelling. We have also recently gained planning for a M4(3) wheelchair user dwelling on a backlands plot in Stretford.
We are enthusiastic about this popular type of development and maximising values of this type of site. Our process would typically involve initial sketch proposals and advice on the relevant planning guidance, followed by a planning application which we would manage and monitor.
